do you drive a car or ride a taxi???

im wondering how many of us here drives his/her car... and who among us doesn't own one and just rides a taxi...which do you think is more expensive???
honestly i dont own a car.. and so i ride in a taxi everytime i go somewhere else...and sometimes i think that it's is more expensive to ride a taxi than to own a car.. but sometimes i think that owning a car is much more expensive because of the high price of the gasoline nowadays... what do you think??? ^^

In Sweden both taking a taxi and owning a car is very expensive, but luckily we have a really good commuting system. All over the country you can take buses or trains both locally and to whichever town of your choice. I wish all coutries were better at commuting systems because of the environment.

I live in the state of Texas,and i own a car and a truck..I don,t know of many people here that does not own a car..The ones that does not own a car is maybe older people that has sold their cars because they can no longer drive because of their age.It would cost a fortune to ride a taxi here in this state,if you could even get a taxi.Many places here do not have taxi service because we are most all automobile drivers....My car gets 32 miles to a gallon of gas,and gas is 2.00 per gallon here,so the best thing here would be to own your own automobile...

When I know I'll have to work late at nights I have to drive my car or sportbike. I rarely take a taxi. I find driving a car more relaxing plus it allows me to choose the path I wan to take and if I want to sidetrack my journey for a little while I can do that. I can also give a friend a hitch unlike some taxi drivers that won't allow it unless they add them in the fee.

I would ride a taxi or just take a bus.I don't offen have holidays.So I don't think owning a car is necessary.What's more,in my opinion,less cars we buy,more beautiful our environment would be.
