Oh what a shame!!!
I watched that match and it was brilliant. I just wished Ponting was playing as I would have loved to have seen his face!!!
Looking at your list the top 8 are all quite near to each other.
I am supporting England of course and hope to see them at the NO.1 spot!!!
I think this World Cup is going to hold a few surprises!!
Enjoy!

yeah i know that it is the first time since the rankings were introduced in 2002 that aussies have fallen from no.1 spot to no.2 in latest rankings. I feel it just that now aussies are very much beatable provided you play good tough quality cricket. I feel it is right time & chance for all other teams to try to defeat ausies and win world cup. And hopefully our indian team will set the record straight & defeat the aussies emphatically and lift the world cup.

A bad run is enough to get them down the rankings for now. But I know in addition to their supposed arrogance they also have a lot of passion for the game, great talent and a very systematic approach. So, no..... I wouldnt write them off as yet.
