Are newbies' discussions less important than others?

I tried to start a new discussion about a subject which I think it's interessant and there is a lot of things to say. But nobody answers.
Is it because I'm new? Or is it because you have to think before answer?
Discussions like "do you love someone?" or "what's your favourite color?" are created very often and answers are always the same. But it don't need to think.
Does people prefer increase their post numbers or have true discussions?

I have no problem with responding to a newbies discussions. Usually i try to respond to some of the newbies discussions everyday. Have you tried using tags, and puting your discussion in a good topic, so that way veiwers can find it.

lol, hi newbie. ;)
Neah, it's not because you are new here _fanny_ that nobody answer your discussion.
There are some 'old comers' who are also don't get any response to their own discussion.
Don't be discourage, my friend. Maybe your discussion is not of their interest, or they don't have anything to say about it. Therefore, no answer.
However, usually, when you have some good network in your friends list, perhabs the friends could help by responding to your discussion.
I usually always look up my friends list discussion. Only when I don't know what to say, I didn't get involve on their discussion. But I would try to response to my friend, in a hope that they would do the same to me. :D
But when they don't, we can't force people to get involve to our, discussion, can we?
Welcome to MyLot, _fanny_, keep on making discussions, I wish you all the best and enjoy your staying here.

I don't think they are. I look at the topic subject and if that gets my attention I will read the rest of the discussion and then I will either leave or respond. It has nothing to do with how long they have been here at myLot.
