Poetry is not what it used to be. There are more people that write it than read it. There are still a few of us that just love it all around. I have written a poetry book, The River's Bend. It's published, however, it was so difficult to get it published. Most publishers don't take poetry at all and others will only take published authors. My publisher may not be the best, but they gave me my chance. Just keep trying.

I am excited that a published poet has responded me. I would like to know more about you. Let me know the publisher of your poem book or the availability of it and I shall buy it. One more thing it is really troublesome for the poets to get recognization for their poetry then why not these poets turn to commercial song writing? It pays more and the recognisation is fast isnt it?

I am so sorry I haven't gotten back to you yet. I've been pulled in so many directions lately.
My publisher is PublishAmerica. You can find it online at:
http://www.bookfinder4u.com/IsbnSearch.aspx?isbn=141379033X&mode=direct
You are also able to order it through your local book store. Just give them the ISBN 141379033X.
I would be honored if you bought my book. Please be sure to let me know what you think after you read it.
I think you may be on to something with song writing. It may still be just as difficult to get the work out there though. You have to realize how many people are writing and trying to get their work out there for all to see. It's so competitive and they can't take everything submitted.
