Hi, I am currently using avira antivir personal classic edition. This can be downloaded at their official website at www.free-av.com I have been using this software for over a longer period of time. Since using it, I have never had any problems at all with regards to the overall function and system performance of my machine. Otherwise, I am so impressed and grateful with its performance. It updates regularly and can be scheduled at your most convenient or spare time. It is very light on resources and does use a lot of memory. Hence, does not slow down your computer. For your questions regarding the product, you could visit their support forum at forum.avira.com
Hope this would help.
Have a great day and God speed!

I think nod 32 is the best antivirus that is availabele.
It is low on system resources also it has been elected as the fastest anti-virus on windows vista.

Hi Rajat, I have been using Avast 4.7 for past 6 months. The home version can be downloaded from their website and after installing it can be updated free of cost. It is working very good and it could even detect and remove viruses those which norton and avg could not detect. Only thing is that you have to update it regularly. NOD32 is also good, but Norton is too resource hungry and it will slow down the PC and other programs.

i think avast is best.
It haslot many features like Web Shield,Standard shield,Boot Scanning, network Shield,P2P Shield,Email Shield and So on...
moreover Avast comes in small package so if u want to downloa Avast from internet and you have slow connection you can downloa dAvast from the internet.
The updation of virus database in Avast is also very easy and speedy.Avast has always very small definition package to download so you can update Avast database even if you have slower internet connection.Avast will not slow down your PC i am also using Avast.

i am using kaspersky.. i believe that kaspersky is the best antivirus that i ever used.. compared to another type of antivirus, kaspersky works better than others.. kaspersky could detect the viruses that cannot be detected by any others antivirus.. believe me.. some of my friends using another kind of antivirus(i mean they are not using kaspersky), they always facing a problem with their antivirus.. i used to use their thumbdrive and almost 80 viruses found in the thumbdrive while there is no viruses found by their antivirus.. i hope that you make a great decision then.. g'luck :)
