board games

Oh we are board game finatics at our house! When I was a young child my parents played 'Go To The Head of The Class' with me..it was my favorite board game. My children when very young loved HiHoCheerio, and then as they got older they too enjoyed 'Go To The Head of The Class.' As teens they have enjoyed 'Backgammon,' 'Othello,' and recently 'Balderdash.' We have a ball playing 'Balderdash' with our adult friends as well. For those not familiar, there are strange words (that no one likely knows the meaning of) and everybody writes what they think it would mean. You get points if people choose your definition. It often gets very, very funny! We too, love Scatagories and also Cranium.

I loved as a kid candy land and Chuttes and Ladders. Top favorites. As an adult I love monopoly and especially CLUE! Its thee best. I havent played a board game in a few months. But they are great!I love Othello. Me and my sister are relearning this game which is sorta board game like. Still fun stuff.:))

well yeah i love to play with my children with chess and scrabble..i have fun playing with them ..its like bonding times with us..

For me, my favourite is of course monopoly! This is a really nice board game which you can learn many things from it. This is a must to try with your children ;-)

If there's a board game that I like most, then it's millionaires' game. I like it because it gives you the chance to experience how it is to have businesses. I first played it with my classmates when I was 10. It's been a long time ago since I first played it but I have not finished a single game up until now. I hope I will be able to completely play it someday.

i don't have any children, but i do play boardgames though with my younger siblings. our favorite is monopoly and scrabble, and we also play snakes and ladder. i tried learning how to play chess once but unfortunately it was too complicated for my simple mind. we have such fun playing these boardgames that we could go on for hours. the times when we do play serve as a bonding time for us to make us closer as a family

When my children were growing up there were no video games, computers or cable television. You played games for entertainment. Many hours were spent playing scrabble, monopoly or just a game of cards.

We love board games here.....everything from Life to Monopoly to Uno to Risk.....my kids,at home are 9,10 and 16 and they all enjoy our family night of games,games and more games

I remember playing Sorry with my mom when I was little, that was her favorite game to play, I don't even remember what mine was! With my daughter we play Chutes & Ladders, Madeline(a picture game about getting to the attic in the house first), Pretty Pretty Princess, & Memory. She loves playing them!!

My favorite board game is and will always be Clue. I first played the game with my grandparents and their friends when I was ten years old. I also have the movie. Scrabble is also a game I enjoy playing as a kid and its perfect to play on a rainy day now.

We play lots of board games! The kids like Monopoly and Othello. My favorite then and now - Scrabble. My parents played games with us, too. We were broke, no cable tv LOL so we played lots and lots of board games growing up.

I use to play alot of board games but now with the computer today they have faded out so to speak. My favorite is playing checkers and Im also very good at it. Do you dare to have a game with me? LOL

When my daughter was little we bought a game called Win Loose Or Draw. This game is like charades however, instead of acting out the words you have to draw them. We bought a big chalk board to make the game even better. My mom and dad would come over and we would all play for hours. Now that everyone is older, I guess we settled down. We all love to play deal or no deal on the dvd player. We watch the show during the week and play the game on the weekends. Never a dull moment.

Me and my kids play board games...our favorite is Hi Ho Cheerio and Chutes and Ladders. As a child, I loved to play Hi Ho Cheerio and as an adult I LOVE Taboo. I know it's not really a board game, but it is SOOO fun! -

I play games with my daughter all the time. We play games like Trouble, Sorry, Chinese checkers, regular checkers, you name it. I think that our favorite game at the moment is probably chinese checkers. She always wants to keep playing it over and over until she can beat me or dad. I know that one of her other favorites is the game Sorry. She always thinks it's hilarious when my husbnd or I get close to getting one of our pieces into "home" and she gets to land on us and send us back to the beginning.

We love board games! our family is now into the Scene It! games! We have a blast with the Nickelodeon version and teh Disney version. We group ourselves into boys versus girsl. My son kicks butt with Nickelodeon Scene It, while we girls leave the boys in our dust during the Disney Scene It version. It's a lot of fun!

When I was a child, I loved the Millionaire's Game, it's one awesome boardgame. Now that I'm an adult, I guess I would have to say that my fave board game would be Scrabble
