Or do you believe that people that murder and commit heinous crimes should spend the rest of their lives in prison? I am talking about people that are unrehabilitatable, like child molesters that have raped children. I heard on TV the other night that there are certain people that are unrehabilitatabil. More or less even the experts don't believe they can be fixed. Anyone that gets pleasure our of hurting a child is too sick.
There are people that think that if someone takes a life that does not give anyone the right to take theirs.
I think a lot of these people would have a different opinion if it was a family member of theirs.
Look at Adam Walsh, The man that took him abused him and cut his head off. Imagine having to go identify your child like that. It makes me sick. Now they give a person a shot and put them to sleep like a dog. I think they should being back the electric chair and fry them.
What do you think?

That isnt going to happen here in the United States. But it is a good idea. That way none of the shooters would know if they were the one that took the person out.
Thank you for your comment.

I agree, I think that people would think twice if it was a child of theirs or them that had been abused. These perverts are a drain on our society. The pain they leave behind needs to be addressed also. I would go crazy if someone did something to a loved one of mine. MIshelle

Many people have gone crazy they have not only killed a loved one but the loved one has to go on for the rest of their lives thinking of how much suffering was cause to the person that was killed.
These are monsters I am talking about . Not your run of the mill thief.

Yes I do. I think stricter laws would be more effective. It's not fair for the families of the victims if a murderer will only be jailed for life. They should pay the same amount they took.

No it isn't fair for the families. People need to think how the families feel. However no one can possibly imagine what those families have gone through. Many times it ruins their lives just thinking about the hell a family member had to go through. Thank you for your comment.

Well I think they should use chair and injection. We don't want to take it too far such as starvation and burning. But sick criminals need to be taught a lesson, if their is no way they can be helped/fixed. Get rid of them

I do and I don't. If there is no question of guilt, such as the convicted person admitted guilt, took pleasure in it, doens't care, go for it. But there are times when it's how can we be sure of guilt, especially when they don't confess or still plead innocence. It's a hard thing to do sometimes. To kill someone. but on one hand prison cells are filling up, convicts eat better than i do, goes outside more than I can, watch tv more than I do, and has access to better healthcare than I do. That is not right either. So for yes, if they can't be rehabitated then quit wasting my money on them.

i firmly believe that dealth penalty should be given to those ruthless criminals. they've commited sins, and they should pay for it. specially those pedophiles raping children. they ruined many lives, and they can't just pay for it by just staying in prison. i also think that the electrical chair should be used in special cases.. or maybe in all cases. they should suffer for what they've done..

no one has the right to take a life...unless in desperate situations....maybe if they are unrehabitable....you can kill dem..but i am still against it...even if the person is killed it should be quick...ur not supposed 2 torture a person and kill him..dats totally disgusting....i mean...its so sadistic..just because des perverts and sick-minded guys go bad..and do really bad stuff kids ..doesnt mean we should sink to that level or cruelty..we..humans..being the so called superior race..should know beder dan dat..remm.."JUSTICE IS BRIGHT,BUT MERCY IS BRIGHTER STILL"...

I think rotting away at jail is a bigger punishment than being executed. If you think about having to spend the rest of your life in a cage, it's way worse than having a minute worth of pain and suffering. Also, there could be a chance that some criminals arent actually criminals and they would still have the chance of being let free.
On the otherhand, ridding someone that is as sick and twisted as the person you mentioned, would give people a sense of security.

Hey Ona -
Good post. If it means that taxpayer dollars will no longer have to pay for a convicted felon's food/clothing/shelter, I'm all for "three strikes and lights out."
Much wellness,
Kevin

I believe in the dealth penalty for repeat offenders and child molester. Prison is supposed to be about teaching people a lesson and turning them around. serial killers, serial rapist and child molesters cant be fixed nothing works (no not even chemical castration) I believe they need to be sentenced to the dealth penalty
