would you make a better "COP"?????

i was just going thru one of the discussion and i came across one which said about a person bribing a cop.. now its a general feeling among all of us to think wrong about cop who accept bribes... as opposed to what they are to be doing.. (protecting the law)... i have sometimes even told to myself if only i had been in his place.... now that may be the self correcting nature of mine but then would i really adhere to what i say... i dont know... would you? how would you do it differently???
