i heard that you can play ps2 games on the ps3, but with reduced graphic quality, which made me scratch my head. my friend went on to tell me that its possible to play ps1 games on it, but with severly reduced graphics, which seems even stupider. one of the many reasons sony is goin to the toilet...

well, as far as i have read, it does have backward compatibility to ps2, don't know about ps1, and it costs around 600$. if you're interested i know a site where you can get it for under 10$, i'm registered for an xbox 360 there. if you want to know, then message me.

Yes you can play ps2 games on a ps3. The only thing I don't know is if you can play a ps1 game on a ps3. Also have not tried connectiong the ps2 memory cards or controllers.

Well... I think it beats xbox 360, but it cost WAY TOO MUCH! The price stunns me very much. If you are rich, go ahead.

YES PS2 games work on PC . PS3 is about 600$ now .
