being a muslim in the philippines

Assalamoalaikom!..I am new here in mylot, i want to share information about me and my place where i lived..I am sahira native of marawi city.Marawi city is one of the cities of philippines where muslim maranao or moros live,maybe other might confused since philippines is a christian based but to inform you there lots of muslims here living in mindanao region,though we are the so called-inferior group but i don't think so...just only here in the philippines..well, we have good hearts because we are muslims though some say muslims are terrorists!?huh!God knows who are terrorists. anyway, regardless of the religeon, so long as there is peace and unity, everybody is happiy!heh!

I have also some muslim friends, they are very good to me. I think only a few are those who should be branded as terrorists, and not the community as a whole.
The problem is, others(both parties) are still having a hard time to co-exist with each other. Every each and one of them are competing for some worthless superiority, to sometimes I think why shouldn't we just learn to appreciate each other and live in harmony, for our country to move forward.

kamusta sahira, i think media has the biggest responsibility on branding muslim as extremist or terrorist...i don't hate muslims, actually we are all alike...muslim and christians have been in war since the beginning of time, it's so sad to see that even up to now they some still hate each other...
