this has been a long dicussed topic in the world of cricket... until recently LANCE KLUSENER , CHRIS CRAINS were regarded as the most dangerous batsmen.. but now with the m having retired ADAM GILCHRIST , VIRNDER SEHWAH , SHAHID AFRIDI , CHRIS GAYLE have all been in contention.. who according to you is the most dangerous among them all ???? and why???

Well dangerous in a sense that the batsman makes the opposition pay by being consistent and playing attacking knocks,its sachin tendulkar.But if its the most destructive batsman of all then my pick is adam gilchrist. When in full flow, no matter where you bowl to him, he'll smack every ball be it good or bad. H esurely is the most dangerous and batting at the top means he can seize the initiative for his team and take the opposition out of the match in the first few overs of the innings.So my pick the most dangerous batsman for his sheering attacking batting, adam gilchrist.

Adam Gilchirst has taught new generation players how to make bowlers cry? He is not only awsome cricketer but also a true sportsman unlike Sachin. Afridi has got twin features but some time he lost his gym very easily. But he ia always impressive and smart on the field..he can turn game with is few shots & with his few deliveries....More than dangrou, Sachin is a quality batsman...Shewag looks gentle man while on the strike but he is not....he in my opinion is the new gilchirst....

I think in terms of consistency and long-Inning-playing Ricky Ponting, Muhammad Yousuf and Rahul Dravid Are Dangerous. In terms of destruction Shahid Afridi, Chris Gayle, Adam Gilchrist and Sanath Jayasuria are Dangerous.

my opinion is Mr. Mahender Singh Dhoni is the most dangerous batsman in the world in comparison to Shahid Afridi, Virender Sehwahg, Chris Gayle in recent times.

hey i think u have left out one of the strongest contenders.."MAHENDRA SINGH DHONI"... i feel dhoni has an edge oversome one like afridi bcoz its deadly dangerous to make ur opposition strive hard for earning ur wicket rather than gifting ur wicket due to a rash shot as afridi does.. dhoni my choice.. wat do u say

he he .. the indian in me is jumping up and down.. and obviously says yes.. but optimistically speaking i regard DHONI as a thinking batsmen then a "i ll play a rash shot every ball" kind of a player... so..
