Hi everyone
I am planning on taking some vacations at the end of March and Vancouver came to mind. I'm thinking of staying at the most one week so I want to know if there is plenty to do in Vancouver to take up a week.
My budget will probably vary but I would like to keep it not too expensive:)
Is Vancouver a good place to go?

I expect that as you posted this discussion one year ago you may have already been to Vancouver. It is a place that I hope to go to next year. I would walk around Stanley Park and stroll around the historical area of Gas Town. It might be lovely of me to seek out some stunning view points. I would probably pop over to see Victoria and the more rural areas on Vancouver Island. It would be great to get the train to Jasper, then catch a bus to Lake Louise and Banff. According to my travel guide book accommodation prices look expensive in Vancouver. Happy traveling.

If I were you, and this is my personal opinion, I would take a ferry over to Vancouver Island. The island is beautiful, and there is tons to do. Stay at the Strathcona Park Lodge- just west of Campbell river Airport, and they have daily activities there as well as a great view between the mountains. They have activities like: Rock climbing, tree climbing, high ropes course, low ropes course, canoeing, kayaking, camping trips, hiking, and others. They also have great food. You would stay in cabins, but they have full water and heat, and they look great. Have fun whatever you decide to do!

hello
Vancouver has lots to do, be prepared to buy or bring a umbrella though. First thoughts are the Vancouver Aquarium, Science World, Museum. If you journey out of Vancouver a quick 20/30 minutes you can ski at seymour or golf at around lgy
