Anyone else not vaccinate yourself or children?

What made you decide to not vaccinate or no longer vaccinate? Was there a reaction? Did you research? Are you religiously opposed to human diploid cells in vaccines?
For us, it was a combo of things. I got into an argument with the nurse at the immunization clinic since I didn't want my son to get the flu vaccine, I thought he was too young at the time and I didn't know yet if he was allergic to eggs-I wanted to wait until the recommended age of 1. She gave him the vaccine anyways, said "too bad" and didn't mark it on his charts. I looked into what could happen from it, and found all sorts of information against vaccines. I discovered it wasn't required for him to have shots to go to school. I also found out about the human diploid cells, and that just made me sick! I also found my shot record and realized I was only vaccinated for a few things compared to what they wanted to give my son, and that I never got boosters and I'm find and kicking.
PLEASE NO BASHING, I'M ASKING IF THERE'S ANYONE ELSE THAT'S GONE THROUGH SOMETHING SIMILAR!

I personally was fully vaccinated. We have not vaccinated our child at all. We had a homebirth so we didn't have to fight with the doctors about Vitamin K, Hep B or the eye ointment when she was born. We did research and we also decided that God made our bodies the way he wanted them and gave us an immune system. The Vitamik K at birth was one that really bothered me. The inject more than 5,000 times the amount of Vit K that an adult has into a newborn. The Bible says that on the eighth day we will have all of the Vit K we need (That is why they circumcised on that day). At first our doctors said we really should vaccinate but know they understand we aren't. Every checkup we have to sign a waiver. Good luck to you!

and that vitamin K may be related to the increase in childhood leukemia. I didn't even know they did that plus the hep b shot at birth in hospitals-I certainly didn't sign for it but they did it anyhow! Thank God for homebirth, that's another reason I want to do that the next time around!

We also have to sign a waiver every time. Our pediatrician doesn't agree w/ our choice, but respects our wishes not to vaccinate.

I choose not to vaccinate my sons. Aftr doing research, which I'm still doing, I decided that the risksof the diseases was not as great as often assumed. I also decided that children's immune systems are far too immature to be overwhelmed with the numerous doses of vaccines and the chemicals within them. When they are older we may do some vaccines, but for now no.

This is such a heated topic w/ so many people. I have a 16 month old son who has never been vaccinated. My husband and I made the decision years ago not to vaccinate. Do the research people. We researched it over 4 years ago. Vaccines have very bad fillers, I feel they are just not right for family. It's your choice, you aren't good, bad, or better for not or for vaccinating. I was skeptical at first, but once you find out more and more about them, you wouldn't want those poisons injected into your baby. Vaccines are NOT ONE SIZE FITS ALL!!!Everyone is made up differently. Talk to some Moms who have autistic children...they were healthy, happy babies until they got vaccinated. It's crazy. It's not only autism, it's ADD, ear infections, learning disabilities. Just look into it and make an informed decision.

I also feel like some vaccinations are excessive. I was vaccinated when I was small, and then later again maybe 2-4 times at school.
now getting this tetanus shot as an adult, thats the worst. And i didnt check which brand the nurse used, it could also contain a form of mercury : /
more likely to get poisoning from that than from tetanus id say, esp since im not stepping in soil with a puncture wound :/

I do not want to vaccinate my 7 month old he has never been vaccinated and I do not want to start. But I do not want that to stop him from going to daycare or school. Is their any paper work that I would need to sign and what kind of doctors support not to vaccinate because all of the ones that I run into support vaccination they must get a cut from it?
