What one type of car do you see most on the roads in your area?

Saturn - Other than the Nissan Altimas, saturns are probably the next most frequently driven cars in my city and state. I see them everywhere.

Is there one type of car that you see more people driving in your hometown than other cars? Why do you think that one car is so popular where you live? I see more Nissan Altimas being driven in my city and state. They are supposedly very good cars and very reliable. Several of my neighbors own this type of vehicle. I also see a lot of Saturns on the roadway.

Nissan Altimas are the most driven vehicles that I have seen here, but mostly the older ones. I see a lot of Saturns, pickup trucks and Suvs as well.

adventure super sport - suv
In my country there are lot's of SUV roaming around the busy metro most of them are MITSUBISHI ADVENTURE. I think aside from it's style the one that drives the customer to buy it is the affordable price. Aside from adventure Nissan Innova and HONDA Crv are common here too!

All kinds of SUV's. Tons and tons of them. There are a lot of socker moms, weekend warriors and college kids in the area. They all like SUV's. I thought higher gas prices would have cut down on some of them but it doesn't seem to have changed anything here.

There are a ton of Suvs around since many people have families and need a vehicle like this to get around in. They are gas guzzlers though and surprised that some people have not gotten rid of them by now.

It seems that our neighborhood is filled with individuals that have a mind of their own. There are a variety of vehicles. I believe every vehicle that is on the market today is represented in our neighborhood. I do notice that there are more white colored vehicles than any other color.

That is pretty neat that people drive all different types of makes and models in your area. I am surprised that white is the more popular color there. White is rare in my area as all of the other colors are represented.

From where i live, no one will miss Toyota Altis on a busy street because most taxis use this model of a car. The next common vehicle is the Toyota Revo, most government offices use this type as their official vehicle.

Those are very nice cars and see some of those here but not a great deal of them. It is interesting to know what type of cars are popular in different areas. Thank you for responding. :-)

I see some of those types of cars where I live but not very many of them. I think they stopped making those cars after a short while due to the lack of sales but am not sure.

Hum, that is a tuffy question. I don't know if its just because I know people with this car or what but I see quite a bit of PT cruisers around. Then I see Hummers quite a bit around here. Those are the two that pop in my head right now. I am sure there are so many that I see and see quite a bit of.

I've seen a lot like hondas, toyotas, mitsubishis, daewoo, nissan and bmw's. Sorry to tell you that we don't have any local car manufacturer here that we can say are carrying our brand.. Since all of my fellow friends from the Philippines have already said the types of cars which we normally see on our busy streets, I think the other vehicle common here are the "jeepneys". Used as a mean of public transportaion here, "jeepney" became popular after the end of world war II. Filipios made it into an all-around workhorse to take on brutal tropic weather, fir driving hazards on rugged terrains muds and potholes. They are somewhat the symbol of filipino ingenuity!;)

I'm not sure it's due to recent my family just purchased a Honda Pilot, now I see it every where we go in town. In order to save some gas $$, here are two ways I save. 1. I purchased 2WD rather than 4WD. 4WD is only good for folks go to ski often or on mountain road. 2. I use a gas pill that increase my MPG. Just my 2 cents!

I didn't really ever think about this until we bought a car. We bought a Stratus last year, and now I see it everywhere. There has to be at least 50 of these within a 5 mile radius...LOL. They're everywhere.

I think it's funny that as soon as you buy a new car yourself, you see heaps of them around! Where I live there are a lot of smaller economical cars such as KIA's, Toyota Corollas and other 4 cylinders. It is probably because the cost of fuel here is ridiculous.

Pretty much anything in the SUV department. Explorers and Blazers mainly. But with a city of 150K I'm pretty certain you could account for just about anything out there! There are also a vast amount of Buicks in our area.
