i just posted about allowance and that led me to wondering about reasonble curfew... mine arent old enough for me to have to worry about it yet, but i was wondering what ages other parents start letting their kids go places and what time do they have to be home? if i remember right when i was an older teenager, 16 17 the later i got to stay out the more stuff i was doing that i shouldn't have been.......

To be honest, it is very difficult to set a specific time curfew these days. For children in their early teens I reckon no later than 8-9 pm if you know where they are, for the older teenagers then between 9-10 pm again if you know where they are. It is all too easy to let your kids go where they like and come back when they like, but I feel it is wrong to let your children dictate the terms.
