How much you like skating as a sport?

Oh I love to watch skating! I don't do it myself - although I tried when I was younger, - but I love to watch it on TV, and sometims I go to competitions live. The music, and the costumes,are lovely, and the dancers are always so very graceful. We have it a lot on TV here in Europe, as most of the top skaters are Russian, and Eastern European, so it is very BIG here. I really do enjoy it.

I enjoy watching skating too.It is the crystallzation of art of music and movement.In fact i can not skate.but i like it very much.The artistic impression are deep in my mind.it has a beautiful name,ice ballet.and bring us the enjoyment of dreams.

I love to watch ice skating on tv. It almost looks like they are flying. I have never skated myself and probably will never try because I would end up with a broken leg for sure. I could watch olympic skating for hours. It drives my husband crazy because he thinks it is boring.

I only went skating once while I was on holidays in London. We didn't have skating rinks in Ireland then, and we have just one now. I had to get somebody to help me as I was slipping and sliding all over the place. My ankles kept buckling in the boots, so I had to get ankle supports. At the end of the session the National Anthem started to play and everybody stood to attention but when I tried to stop I just fell down. It was so funny, but I really enjoyed it.

Yes, i really love watching ice skating competitions on TV. I don't usually end up watching them as often as i would like. But there is a great celebrity competition on British television right now called "Dancing on Ice". Celebrities are paired up with skating professionals and have to skate to a new routine each week. The first series was amazing. I started watching because one of my favorite actors, John Barrowman, was one of the contestants. He was incredibly good, but he got voted out way too early. I still kept watching because I loved the skating routines so much. Now a new series is on, and I'm still loving it very much. They also have the same show in america, called (I think) "Skating With Celebrities", but I didn't manage to watch it when it was on.

hello sweetlady!. i als really enjoy watching people skating because i can feel and it seems to me that i am skating too. i have never skated before and i am always envious of peole who knows how to skate.. my mother wont but me any skating shoes because she is afraid of me falling down and hurting myself and having scars all over. well maybe when i have time and extra money i will buy skating shoes and learn how to skate.. i like it because i can feel that when you skate you are like gliding and with the right imagination it will seem that you are flying with the wnd in your face and all that!. oh well. i really would like to learn how to skate. is it hard to learn?. how many days can it take and can i do tricks?. how do i learn the tricks? oh my god even now i am quite excited.

I suppose that you are talking about ice skating. I like it and when I was young I did it for a while. Now I like to wath the ice skating on TV when there are some special events or competition. Yes, I like it.

I wish I could skate, I have done roller rink, but not for about ten years. I feel like if I were to fall I might never get back up. Skating looks like a fun way to get some exercise.

I like watching speed skating; figure skating and ice dancing I like OK, I'll watch it during the Olympics but that's about the only time. I like ice skate in the winter, but I'm not very good.

I love watching figure skating, either in pairs or singles. I'm not big on ice dancing or ice skate racing but that's a personal choice. I love watching the grace and skill that is evident in the figure skating. The creativity they use for performing the different jumps, spins and dance moves. It really amazes me what all they can do. If I tried even half that I'd break my silly neck. The skaters are just incredible though and I love watching them perform.

i really like the figure and ice skating but never had done that but i wana do that in the near future.

i have done ice skating and it was fun doing it and watching others glide through the ice. i use to do roller skates in the seventies and we were using the cheapskates where the whells are made of wood!good god , it's a good thing the skating rink had enough money to replace them with rubber wheels

We used to skate alot more when the kids were little. We would clear a part of the lake and they had an instant hockey rink. We must have had 100 or more skating parties over the years. We still have one with hayrides during the Xmas season.. I guess the lake will have to wait for grandchildren too! :)

i am not into skating too much, havent done ice skating yet, but them girls on there sure are hot you know what i mean lol :) right now i dont have a favorite person but used to be michell kawn or whatever her last name was. and i havent watch them in awhile now.

Do you mean Ice skating? I love watching ice skating! It takes a lot of skill and pratice...and endurance to do such a thing! I love watching and seeing it for its beauty AND talent!

I also enjoy watching figure skating. I have never ice skated, but I have roller skated in a rink. I always like skating and love to watch how graceful the skaters are when performing.

I have not gone ice skating in a couple of years; it always seems as if I had a sprained ankle or something. I do love going when I do get a chance, and since my son is 4 I have been wanting to take him too. He is pretty good at most gross and fine motor skills and has a great balance, so I think that he would do fairly well.

I used to do skating when I was in school, I enjoyed it a lot. But now I have not skat since last 15 years..

I have always loved skating, ice skating in fact since I was a little child...I can remember me as a child staring at those beautiful and powerful sportmen and women simply dancing on ice...I was very fond of Katharina Witt...I can still remember how moving it was when she chose to use a tip-tap music for her exibition...I can ice skating a little but I am not very good...I am always falling down but when I happen to go ice skating I have so much fun that I don't mind me falling on the ice..it is part of it!!! This year in Italy we had a great chance...we were the country where Winter Olympic games took place and it was great for all of us loving ice skating...unfortunately our main athlete, Carolina Kostner, didn't performe well but anyway she was very nice as usual.
