Girl Scout Cookies...to buy or not to buy and WHY?

I admit that I do buy because I think they taste so good. They can get addicting!! Now I do realize they are expensive but hey, people keep buying year after year right. So do you buy? Why or why not? Also, what do you think of fund raising in general?

They are expensive, but they are worth it. It's like Camp Fire Candy..my son is in Camp Fire and the candy sales just ended. $5 a box...it's ridiculous, but the money does go for a great cause. These organizations help kids all over the place...it keeps them out of trouble and helps them build goals toward life. I do buy from all the sports organizations and the clubs like Boys and Girls Club, Camp Fire and Girl Scouts...they are great places for kids.

Aside from them being tasty, you are helping the girlscouts raise funds. This is the reason why the cookies are priced slighly higher than those commercially available in the supermarket. Fundraising in general is good when its for a real cause.
