Most of anyone who has read the first couple books has read the rest of the series because they got hooked. Each book has its own quality to it that attracts you towards reading more and more of it. But which one do you prefer over the others?

books 3 and 6. Prisoner of Azkaban had the emotional resonance that i found lacking in previous books, and for the first time i knew i was into this series for the long haul. i also like book 6 because several things have become clearer

as for me it would be the half-blood prince, the story line was great but i never really like the ending though, so tragic and sad, nevertheless, it's a good prequel to the ending! nothing beats harry potter, simply the best!

all the of the books are the best, but the bestest of the best for me is book # 6 it was the book with the most mysteries yet to be revealed, and this is also where harry's romance with ginny bloomed. it left me satisfied yet craving more... it made me more excited for the next installment, JK's imagination is truly amazing, she makes me wanna aspire to be a writer myself... ;)

I like the first one seeing as that's the only book i've read, but I really enjoyed the 3rd movie.

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince is my favorite in the Harry Potter series. I can't seem to put it down when I was reading it. I wanted to keep reading until I finish the story. The story was fast paced and it really makes you think. You make guesses as to what was Malfoy's mission was, or who's side was Snape on. I've read the book three times already. And I plan to read it again, soon.
