can robots replace human power?

i believe that robots can replace humans in memory and speed.They have succeeded also.but can they do emotional reasoning like us?they cannot...wt do u feel?

Thats what the film AI is all about. Robots who can think hence they evolve and start to feel. I am sure it can happen, but hopefully it doesn't happen in my lifetime. It is possible, if they can possess IQ then they can possess EQ also.

I feel the same way, robots cannot have reasoning. And only do as programmed so they can make alot of uneccesary mistakes.

i think robots can, as for scientists are working on this field to put emotions and intelligence in them.

this is an age old question which has reappeared again and again ... as time has progressed it has the sentence reappears again with a little dirrerence ... before it was life can machines replace humans and the answer which looked obvious was yes .... but in todays world man and machine co-exist so i am def. sure tat in time to come ..... man,machine and robot will coexist and we will be facing the same question with a little difference again :)

yes we can may be draw someattention to this fact .. i read in an artice which was published in the times of ihdi a news paper in india..... it was about top 10 achivement in the field of robotics.. i don't remember all but to name a few i can tell u there was ...
not according to the rating given....
1)robot which will be used in battle fields to carry wonded soldiers and get in places where a human cannot physically ... :).
2)Robots to be used in hospitals or natural disasters will have 250 + pressure points on their had which will tell them at all points what part of the human body they are holding so tat they don't cause any further problem.
and many more these were the two i liked the most and hence remember ... :)
