300 is an absolutely terrific movie. the attitude, the valour the spartans display send a chill down my spine. so much to keep their honour. they challenged and even demured a person who projected himself as god. i think they were bogged down by the wrong priests who just had no respect for these warriors. my personal favorite line in the movie when the king says : SPARTANS NEVER RETREAT!!!!!!!!!!. the greatest sequence when the king as a young lad fights the beast and also , when he kicks the intruder into the well..

I've seen a few stills from the movie and it looks fabulous! Another movie I can't wait to see! My list keeps growing!

It looks good, and I too like big epic war movies, but if it's all computer generated, I think it'll take a lot away from the movie. When I think of good war movies I think The Patriot, Braveheart, Glory, Hamburger Hill. None of these movies used computer generated graphics, or if they did, they existed in very small degrees. I think the practice of such, or actually lack thereof, adds enhancement to the film, whereas I think an excessive amount of cgi can take away from the film. Personally, I'll wait to hear how much cgi was incorporated into it before I go see it.

This movie looks awesome. It appears to tie in some serious visual aspects with killer a soundtrack. After you see it you must report in.

I can't wait to see it. It looks like real eye candy. I've heard that the special effects are very good.

I agree. I saw the previews and it looks visually stunning. I'm usually not one for big epic war films like this but 300 looks pretty good. I didn't know it was about the Spartans and the Persians, which is really interesting because I enjoy ancient history. I don't know why its coming out in March though, big blockbuster films usually start opening in late-May and during the summer. You'll have to let us know how it is.
