Animal lover or not?

I admit it I am not an animal person. I grew up in a household where we had no pets, I am allergic to cats and just don't like animals. I wouldn't buy a car or house from someone who had animals and wouldn't marry someone who wanted a pet. It seems to me that people either really love animals, or really don't and the two sides have a hard time relating to each other. Where do you stand?

Got to be honest, I love my dogs. I love animals come to think of it. I think it's the kid in me that used to like my cuddly toys when I was a baby, and I just enjoy the interaction with animals. They are a joy to watch, and it's a learning experience everytime you have an animal encounter of any kind. This is what I find so much fun and enjoyable about them. My two dogs can make you laugh and cry at the things they do. They are so adorable, and I can't imagine that anyone would find them any different. But I totally respect you for saying how you feel, and I hope that you don't get shot down badly by the animal lovers on here, because everyone is entitled to their opinion on things.
