What do you think was the coolest scene?

For me, this movie is a classic. It's very difficult to choose a favorite. But I think I'll go with the scene when Shu Lien and Jiao Long finally confront each other. Shu Lien is at a quite a disadvantage because Jiao Long wields the green destiny. She changes many weapons as the battle rages on. In the end she just stops short of killing her, giving us a symbolic message that despite the fact that Jiao Long had the superior weapon, her spiritual weakness led to her defeat. This moment is emphasized when Jiao Long cheats, just after a brief pause, she injures Shu Lien from her shoulder.

The scene that Yu(Lee's girlfriend)track the girl who take the sword,i enjoy both its actions n music.seems the prince(the girl) knows the martial arts of Wudang(kinda like Taichi)n Yu is not bad 2,she use some art kinda like the wing tsun(sorta women defence kungfu)

i personally think that the whole movie is great... and among the scenes, i think that the scene in the trees and the fighting scene between the two ladies are the best scenes in the movie... the characters in the tree scene look like they're very light because of their movements, and it looks very realistic... on the other hand, the fighting scene between the two ladies is very heart-pounding and worth watching for several times, the stunts were well-mastered and artistically made

I'd have to go with the big Tavern fight-with the gag at the end of all the bruised and beaten fighters finding out the cause of it was one of them having the same surname as the Man She didn't want to marry :)

as other people in this discution have said: it's a classic and picking a scene iw very very hard.. the movie itself is amzing, the effects, the movemensts, the legend, the myth are never seen before. it also is one of my favorite movies together with Hero (with has a similar SFX) My favorite scene would be, if i really have to chose, the barfight. it's incredibly funny how the big bad men think they can defeat a woman. that they can defeat "the sword". she is a swordmaster but the men think she's weak. and the the scene starts and all these big men start running up to her and she kicks all of their *** i especially like the huge guy with the heavy balls on stick (i don't know the official names) . lol, the guy's so funny. and then she leaves the bar like nothing happened. all in all, this movie is a great one and i would advise everyone to look at it if they have to opportunity. just do it!
