how do you guys show your love to him or her?

There is sth. confused me .I just don't know how to show my love to him? We are classmates and we spent happy time together. i can feel his care and i am waiting for him to tell me he loves me. but it seems he is more shy than me . what can i do ? do you guys ever been in this state before?
