hOW MANY MEMBERS OWN A SWIMMING POOL

Not too many around where we are, although some of the farmers do. This is because they actually live out of town and of course it is a distance to take the children in if they want a swim. Once children used to swim in the irrigation channels but now due to the water, or lack of it, that isn't available. Also there are many places where they are actually not allowed to swim in the irrigation channels because they are considered dangerous. I have noted though that a lot of people who actually live in towns or cities do have a swimming pool, but they seldom seem to use it. That might be because they are busy with work and life in general plus sometimes children want to be with their friends at the town pool. :)

I can't tell you the actual percentages, but I can tell you that many people have either an above ground or inground pool and don't use it. This to me is just plain foolish. I love to swim and would swim at every opportunity if I owned one myself.

I have an above ground pool. Where I live ; in the summer it gets pretty darn hot. The pool sure is great to have ! Most of the people in our neighborhood have a pool.

Nobody where I live have their own swimming pools!
