Cookie problem: can't stay logged in

I managed to nuke all my cookies (hit the wrong Firefox button) and now I have to log into ModernTales, Girlamatic, and GraphicSmash every single day. When I look at these cookies after logging in, they're set to expire at end of session (either when I close Firefox or when the session naturally expires).
I thought we were supposed to be able to stay logged in longer than that, so I would appreciate knowing if this has changed again, or if there's an obscure setting I have incorrect somewhere that I can change in order to allow cookies to last longer than they do.

Joey's working on redoing the rest of the MT sites as well, so hopefully that'll solve that problem as well. :)

That's good to know, though I'm afraid for my cookie issue I find I spoke too soon. I got on to do my afternoon round of comics and found myself logged out again.
I wish I hadn't accidentally axed my old cookies. Those, I suppose, didn't have "end of session" as their end time, and the server side apparently has no more than a 24 hour session length (not the "real" session, but the server storing session info in order to reinstate a session if the browser-to-server session has expired).
