my hamster is really hyper to-night

My hamster is bouncing of its cages walls... literally! I don't know if this is normal, but it is really weird. She is running so fast that when she stops, she does a flip around the wheel. And she is climbing up on the cage a little bit and falling off. Now she is squeaking a little bit also. I don't think it will hurt her too much, but it might be because she is squeaking just a little. If you have any help or comments please post them. Thank you.

That doesn't sounds too surprising. After sleeping for so long in the day, hamsters are bound to be much more active at night! If she's continuously squeaking you might want to put some more bedding on the base of the cage so when she lands, she lands on something soft.
If your hamster's a roborovski, all the more you shouldn't be surprised. Roborovskis run very quickly!
Well I read one website about hamsters. They mentioned that hamsters are extremely active at night and can run up to 8 miles a night on their wheel! If the squeaking sound of the wheel disturbs you, you can try oiling it. Or get a Silent Wheel. Silent Wheels do not squeak at all no matter how fast it's spinning. Though they cost slightly more than normal wheels, it's still good to have your beauty sleep in peace!
Happy mylotting and good day / night to you!

Well behavior like that is natural for a new hamster, after a couple weeks she will start to slow down. She's probably just excited about being in a new home.
