I read The Good Earth by Pearl S. Buck when I was a sophmore in high school (back in the ice age). It was a very profound book and it has influenced my life, being a book with a subject that I never forgot.
Have you ever read a book that profound?

The book I have never forgotten was More Tales Of the City. I'd seen Tales Of the City to mini series and then I read the book. More Tales was the sequel. It is so witty and I really enjoyed reading it. It seems I see the movie then read the book because I saw Henry and June then I read Tropic of Cancer. I saw Mrs. Parker and the Vicious Circle then I read Dorthy Parker's work.

Oh interesting - so, do you find the the movie/mini series is better or the book?
