The most cats I've ever had was

Yes I have had 5 at one time or another too. I once was given a brother and sister cat. They looked a lot alike too and I kept them both inside. They came with an enclosed litter box and cat carriers and they were declawed and well taken care of with all their shots. well lo and behold the female became pregnant and then I had three. I guess cats are different from humans when they are in heat.

I had 6 at one time. We were gifted a female persian and decided to get a male to breed. The first cat turned out to be sterile so we got another female. Meanwhile, a stray cat that I had been feeding got hurt and needed medication on an interval schedule, so I took her in. The 2nd female got pregnant and had a difficult birth of 2 kittens. One kitten was born herniated and had to be operated on. Both the kittens were so cute we couldn't part with them! So, we got the 2nd female spayed and ended up with 6 cats all because someone gave us one!

The most i have is 4. Would love to get more but I think that is the limit by law in my area :(

Right now I have 26 in the house & one outside. Now, 2 are the new roomie's and they stay in her room, but the others run around. 9 are looking for new homes - know anyone that wants a cat? Joke! I'd really like to get it back down to 16 cats (including the one outside.) I did find a home for a cat in January.

I had nine once. My cat had six kitten and I already had three. That was alot of litter boxes to clean(four)! Right now I have three though two inside (9 years and 2 years old) and one outside (he's 2 and he won't stay in the house). They are all fixed though, ever since my cat had the kittens I found it very important to make sure my cats were fixed!

I have only ever had one cat at a time, they always find me then whe I get so upset when they die I say no more then another one comes to me and decides to stay....it is hard to turn them away when they adopt you.

I had 3 at one time. 2 indoor, 1 outdoor. the 2 indoor were female, fixed, and the one outdoor was male, fixed.
