There is lot of talk about Australia being pushed to 2nd spot in ODI.Few bad matches and without some key players we still cant write them of for a country that was on top for so many years in stretch.

You are right. The loss of matches can be attributed to the fact that Australia lost majaorily because they did not played with there full stength. I am sure, that they are going to do well in the World Cup.
