Do you think some age gaps are so wide, that they are doomed to fail?

if they are going to fail, do u think as long as we have the same age, then it won't fail at all? I think in the 21st century there is no such thing as fail just because of wide gap in age. the more important is the maturity and immaturity between the two, not the age, I guess. not answering hah..

Marriages are far more difficult to hold together now than ever before. Age difference will only be a factor if there is another reason for the relationship, like money. I've been married to a woman nearly twenty years my junior for ten happy years. My children love and respect her, and her children feel the same way about me. Admitidly all our kids are grown up which probably helps. Life is beautiful.

No. Age is just a number. People can be mature or immature no matter what age they are. It just really depends on the couple how hard they want to make things work.

there was a 20 yeatr age gap between my grandma and granddaddy... they lastted forever.. The thing is, it is the 20th century every relationship is going to fail
