I have few climbs here in my country and everytime I was on the peak of the mountain and savor the dew of the morning I really felt refreshed and light.
The view was captivating and heart pounding and the effort that you made in climbing that mountain really compensate the beauty that you will see once you are on the top of it.

when i glanced through your topic i thought you have copied my topic. but then i realized that's not true. infact i had written a short story on my experience of being in Goa. the topic was,'how do you feel when you are on the top of a coconut tree?' i have been to shimla, manali and darjeeling. it really feels that you have come to heaven. the true feeling of utopia is tough to describe. its just great!

i will feel overwhelmed 'cause there's nothing like being on top of that seeing things like they are little toys plus it's a great feeling to feel like the wind is kissing your cheeks. hope that i'll get to hike one of these days.

I've went to Genting Highlands for my second "honeymoon" when the weather was quite cold. It was so cold that I had to wear several layers of clothes to prevent myself from shivering. We went to so many places, and it was a tremendously great feeling. I stayed at First World and later we checked in at one of the apartments. I liked the apartment more because I can breath the fresh air right through the open window. The peace, tranquility, and happiness all mixed together. I hope I would be able to go there again.

For me, I'll feel refreshed and nostalgic. I don't know why, I just felt that way when I climb one. Especially if the top is windy. Maybe, it's because we felt that we are on top of the world.
