When our parents gets angry and not to be eplained

When our parents gets angry at us we would defenaitly explain, right?
But the problem is they would interact immediatly and we can't even explain enough. Instead they would even get angry because they think were talking back at them.
The solution is just to ignore them and just say yes until they stop.
