How can you make a man feel that you are special?

Someone told me that you that in order for a man to propose, he needs to feel that you are the ONLY ONE for him. But how can you do that? Can you give suggestions?

Have patients. If you push a man too hard then he might leave you. Just be yourself and if you truly are the one for him then he'll propose.
