Is It Really Difficult To Believe In God ... ?

i have seen many discussions in lot were people are like non believers and i am very sad to know this ... just because science gave u various feilds to think about science gave us and taught us a way to derieve logic and use our mind in a desired direction but please .. just try to think ...... where did every thing come from even before there was science ... friendship .. world ... mountains ... i know science def has an answer to all my questions ... but ... i don't think tat ... we can compare science and religion ... after all the essence of science is belief .. ? right so why don't people believe in god ... :)

I am afraid you have it slightly confused. The essence of science is proof based on logic. The basis of religion is belief based on faith. The acceptance of scientific proof does not preclude a faith in god but it does make it more difficult. In most cases the scientist seeks a causal relationship to a situation and will not settle for a supernatural explanation.

very good answer but all i have to ask is ... u said proof based on logic .. i say belief .. i want to ask u is can ... u look for a proof in a field which u don't believe in .... ? unless u believe u cannot look ... for proof hence there is no question for logic.... and every thing comes to a stand still wat u say ... ?

Again I must differ. Belief has no place in science. If you start with a belief you will prejudice your conclusions because you will end up trying to support your belief. Logic is asking simple questions. Is something true or false? This can only be done if your investigation is done with integrity. When the answer you come up with is; "I don't know," this is not the time to make up a supernatural reason for not knowing. It is time for further research.

did u every realize tat we think in the direction we are forced to i mean we are no scientiest we are just ordinary people who believe in wat we read in the papers and the researces .. wat if we realize tat ever thing we have been following wat science told us was in a wrong direction all this time ....... i mean this is not difficult to imagine ... wat i am tring to say is our options and area's of thinking have become very specific because of which we think tat every thing can be explained ... and leads to ..... people not beliveing its ok i am happy the way u think and it was nice sharing views ... but yes science ... is def ...... good but yet the fact tat god is there cannot be ruled out because u cannot prove it lol ... :)

yes this is true ..... all u have to do is look around you and u will find answers when u will see .. many examples which even science cannot explain ... i am not saying science can never answer these questions there and then ... we have only one option left .... to believe ... :)

did the religion relates to god , there is a difference between the two first... then ur belief to god,when u r asking for every explanation u dought. what about the god
have u find any answer for the question.. unless we have proff we cant believe.... that is my opinion....

u need a proof for the fact tat ... god exists .. well all u have to do is look arround and see tat this system is just flawless ... no mistakes ... example the distance b/w sun and earth and all these plants and wate on eart .... mountains .. and lakes ... flowers .. everything every thing as a perfect cycle of evolution and ... every thing has a reason for their ... being created ... don't you think tat i8f u cannot find a proof for god .. it is may be you who is not looking properly ...... ?
