Are you a guy? Do you ever ask for directions when you're lost?

I am a guy, and yes I have asked for directions. Of course it was somewhat humiliating. It is totally reasonable that anyone may need to ask for directions. There is nothing wrong with doing that and I would not look down on someone for doing so. Just the same, I hate to give up too soon. There seems to be a benefit in conquering the challenge without surrender.

Its quite weird.. Why wont guys would not ask for directions? I think it wont change his sexuality if he will ask for directions if hes lost! I think the guy you've dated is a total pretender. Pretending that his Mr.PErfect or MR. Map that knows every corners of the road. I think theres nothing wrong with guys asking directions..
To all guys out there? Is this true that you dont ask for directions if you are lost? :)

This is a guy who is totally hopeless at directions! I am really bad, sure I know my left and right but I'm talking about going somewhere new, for the first time, I dread it, if it's an interview, I don't dread the interview I dread getting there! I'm ok if it's public transport, but when I'm driving it's hell! Even looking at A-Z's it's not easy, remember the route in my head, or stopping occasionally to check to see if I am still on the right road. I have stopped and asked directions but I NEVER ask a woman, because in today's society it may look suspicious and it also may make them extremely uncomfortable. So yes I am not afraid to ask questions or ask for help if I'm lost.

I can speak for my hubby. He will check a map, my written directions or even go in somewhere to ask a clerk about directions. He has been a help on many occasions when I get eroneous information from MapQuest, it does happen on occasion. So am glad he is not one of those men that refuse to ask for directions.

The moment I realize I'm getting lost, I ask for directions. Why? I hate to waste time!

Don't lie to me. This is one of those things that gets on my nerves. All women say that men refuse to ask for directions but its a blatent lie, if we are lost we will ask directions but its also in a mans instincts to try and solve a problem not just get someone else to solve it for us, it goes back to caveman days.
How it works is that a guy will look at a map to work out where he is or maybe look for road signs, if unsuccesful he will then ask directions
