Nearly eight hundred years ago England invaded and conquered my country (Ireland).
Many attempts to gain our freedom were attempted and failed until the 1920's when Michael Collins started a successful guerrilla warfare campaign against the english soldiers and administrators who lived in Ireland, making it impossible for them to run the country and forcing England to grant the country freedom.
He basically terrorised the English into withdrawing. Now , im pretty sure that he didnt do this for the good of his health because terrorism is a nasty business.
He did this because in open warfare we had no chance . England were the world superpower of the time , their army could wipe out our country in a matter of days in open warfare.
Similarly in Palestine it is not much use throwing stone at the mighty Israeli army if you are a palestinian. Rocks are of little use against tanks. So in the absence of any tanks of their own the palestinians disrupt the ability of the Israelis to live there.
Now , day in , day out it is happening in Iraq.
Ask yourselves what you would do to save your country in the face of overwhelming odds.
Michael Collins is considered Irelands greatest hero.

I agree with you in a way. Unjust is the primary reason for terrorism, however, that doesn't mean that terrorism is good. We must know that capturing others countries is terrorism. War itself is terrorism. So, what the English did in your country was itself terrorism in disguise. As for Palestine, the palestinians have been terrorized for more than 60 years by Israel which is backed by the greatest power ,the USA. Unfortunatley, not many people (specially in the west) will realize that. It's you, because you were in a way in the same situation as these Palestinians. I think if the USA would only mind on its own business, and stop supporting Israel and stop invading other countries, the world will be much better.
I appreciate your thoughts.
