I am such a movie freak there is no possible way I could narrow it down to even a manageable list.
It's like trying to pick between apples and bananas for me I can't I like them all for different reasons I just can't compare them.
Plus there are always new ones coming out that just get added to the list because then the old ones are still just as good.
Like for example Little Miss Sunshine definately the BEST movie I have seen in a long while. So it would be one of my favorite independent movies but then there's also films like "The Believer" & "Bully" which are still two of my faves.
So anyway what are your favorite movies? Also what your favorite genre of movie?
I can pick a genre definately Independent Films are by far the best!

I love movies so much I watch most of them that come out in theaters. Or at least I used to, not so much anymore because I have to budget my money. I remember liking The Big Blue, Shawshank Redemption, With Honors, Rudy, The Quiz Show, The Lake House, Ever After and so much more!

Definately Rudy that's on my list also. Love it so much I own it on VHS & DVD.
I also don'tget to go to the movies much anymore but because I have 2 babies under 2 so it's a little hard to get away.

I can not even narrow it down to a genre.
I love the old movies like the Unsinkable Molly Brown, Sound of Music, On the Town,
and the old dramas Dark Victory, All About Eve,
The Frank Capra movies like You Can't Take it With You, It's a Wonderful Life, Arsenic and Old Lace
the old b movies like Deadline at Dawn
Disney flicks like Peter Pan, the Aristocats,
Don Bluth like Balto, Swan Princess
Action films like Mission Impossible, Lethal Weapon, Die Hard,
I love the old Thin Man movies I really like every movie in that series.
I liked Rudy and Radio both based on real life stories.
Comedies like Oscar, because I really enjoy a good play on words.
The movie Toys with Robin Williams, the message was overlooked but the whole idea of "may Joy and innocence prevail" was just cool and that it was done with fun tongue in cheeck humor.
In the Garden of Good and Evil, a good mystery and yes the south is really like that in some places.
What Dreams May Come, I like to think that people can really love like that.
to many more to name.
