Do you stay in contact with your high school friends?

I moved away from my hometown a few years after graduation, and actually I moved pretty far away. I have always kept in contact with my closest high school friends. We didn't see each other often, but at least from time to time. Now 30 years later I am back in the same area and have the chance to see them more often. And I do. I have other friends though that seem to never see their old friends. I was wondering if its common to keep in touch with friends you were very close to in school, or if most people just drift apart. What do you think?

I do not keep in touch. I met one last fall and we exchanged emails and she did not email me back when I emailed her. She remembered me however she had to remind me of who she was. She looked different. Don't think it very common since we tend to move all over the place. Am glad to hear the stories though of those that keep in touch.

:( i dont have in touch with my school frnds. I feel really bad...coz of my studies i am really very far from my area....:(

i still keep in touch with my high school friends.In fact,they r my close friends of most time..even closer than new friends that i meet each day.We contact each other tru online,phone ..or any way just to have a good chat and updating each other life.

I have one of my best friends that we still keep in touch. I still send Christmas and birthday cards every year to another best friend (from HS) and on occasion I hear something back. I really miss her. Everyone else we've kind of grown apart. I do have some old friends on my myspace friends list so I do hear from them from time to time as well.
Of course I'm married to one of my best friends in high school - he was my high school sweetheart. We've been together for nearly 11 years. Married for 6 in less than a month. :)

I only have one close friend from High School that I keep in touch with. I haven't seen her in years but we email each other and send letters back in forth. She keeps in touch with a lot of people from High School.

I stay in touch with a few close friends from high school and we see each other a couple times a year. They have always been there for me. Other people have drifted in and out of my life, but I'm glad to still have them in my life.
