Just woundering how long it takes after they mate till we get puppys. And on avarage how many pups do pugs have?????

the normal gestation period is abt 64 days for dogs..and as regards the number of pups..well i guess that varies..i had a german shephard give birth to 3 pups one time and another one gave 7 pups ..so can't be predicted..

Thank you so much . So I guess size don"t matter. Just thought smaller dogs have few pups.
