Do You Come To Work Sick?????

I am guilty of it, i wait till my illness lingers around for like two weeks then i go to the doctors! Which i should not wait that long but i cant afford to take off work everytime i get sick!

Many years of working while I was sick cause I could not afford to take the time off to tend to myself. One time I was so sick and I didn't even know, finally I took one day off, I just could not get out of bed, I went to the doctor that day and was diagnosed with the German Measles, every since then I try to get to the doctor early on before it becomes something worse, just as we all should and don't. Seems most of us put our health on the back burner while we attend the other issues in our life and don't address the medical issues until they are out of hand.

yeah, i hear a lot of people say that, they just dont have the time or money so they figure it will fix it self and come to find out its something worse then they figured, thanks for your response

Last monday as a matter of fact. I had felt awful all weekend but still went to work monday morning even though my stomach was killing me. I got through the day then couldn't make the 30 min drive home because of the pain. I ended up in the ER with a cyst. My husband was so upset with me for not going to the Dr earlier and for going to work. My case I just hate Dr.'s and hope that things just work themselves out. This time it didn't.
