When I was in Mexico, I got an ear infection from swimming. I was told to chop up garlic and wrap it in material and stick it in my ear. Sounds crazy but it really helped. Any one else have some helpful natural remedy tips?

I have a book that gives out lots of herbal remedies and I am always looking it. Things such as ginger for an upset stomach. Or valerian root for when you can't sleep. Although it's some stinky stuff. The practice of herbal medicine has been around for a long time and there is a reason that it is still here. It works.

Thanks for the tip, I believe it worked because garlic has great anti-viral properties. I have used the Indian spice, tumeric to heal cuts and bruises. Worked like magic.
