Someone i know has recently purchased a gun, a small revolver, he's got no gun licence, i've only heard him speak of it, never seen it myself, but since i heard about it, i've been so worried for his wellbeing, i live in a small market town, and guncrime in this town is zero, there is no rational reason for him to own this gun other than his own paranoia... my main concerns are that he's speaking so freely about it, that the word may get to someone who doesn't care for him much and they may come to seek him with their own firearms or worse still it may start a whole trend of ppl buying their own!! He is deep down a very nice person and i don't want to see any harm come to him or anyone else for that matter... what would you do?

well I would say that first of all you should try to approach him and convince him that he wouldnt gain anything by publicising this, except for some problematic situations.... then tell him if he can, then first of all he should get a license for it.... I guess that shud work out....
