MY RESULTS:
Right Brain |||||| 22%
Left Brain |||||||||||||||| 70%
*results won't usually add up to 100% as this test measures each side seperately
Left brain dominant individuals are more orderly, literal, articulate, and to the point. They are good at understanding directions and anything that is explicit and logical. They can have trouble comprehending emotions and abstract concepts, they can feel lost when things are not clear, doubting anything that is not stated and proven.
Right brain dominant individuals are more visual and intuitive. They are better at summarizing multiple points, picking up on what's not said, visualizing things, and making things up. They can lack attention to detail, directness, organization, and the ability to explain their ideas verbally, leaving them unable to communicate effectively.
Overall you appear to be Left Brain Dominant

According to Darwinian theory, optimal evolution takes place with random variation and selective retention. The evolution savvy individual will try many different approaches when faced with a problem and select the best of those approaches. Many historical intellectuals have confessed their advantage was simply considering/exploring/trying more approaches than others. The left brain dominant type suffers from limited approaches, narrow-mindedness. The right brain dominant type suffers from too many approaches, scatterbrained. To maintain balanced hemispheres, you need to exercise both variability and selection. Just as a company will have more chance of finding a great candidate by increasing their applicant pool, an individual who considers a wider set of options is more likely to make quality decisions.

Well MySpot I was brave anough to take the test and must say that there were no real surprises with the results. I have actually done a number of these before, or at least I did when I was working for a living. That means pre-retirement days for me.
Right Brain is 42%
Left Brain is 58%
So mine actually do add up to 100%, and although they say that they usually won't for some reason mine always have. Does that make me abnormal do you think? LOL
From my reading of it, the results mean that I actually use both sides of my brain although a stronger tendency to being Left Brain Dominant. However like all of these tests, they are good for a laugh and no matter which one you end up with, they will show some "defects" and in this case it is towards thinking rather than anything else.
Oh well, it is good fun and I do hope that many more people will actually take the test, so we can see what they score as well. :)

And here I thought it would have been more 50/50. Because I am also very creative and artistic. And I believe that the right side of the brain holds the creativity. :)
Very interesting quiz. Thanks for sharing.

I was surprised by my results too... I thought I was more visual, intuitive, and good at picking up on what's not said! According to their description, I thought my results would be closer to 50/50 and I consider myself to be the creative/artistic type too.

I'm not really sure how well it got me... These are what I am : summarizing multiple points, picking up on what's not said, visualizing things, lack attention to directness, organization, and the ability to explain their ideas verbally. orderly, are good at understanding directions and anything that is explicit and logical, they can feel lost when things are not clear, doubting anything that is not stated and proven (except when it comes to my beliefs that resonate in my soul).

Seems to follow pretty much the same pattern it always has when i have taken these. Sometimes the numbers are reversed.. meaning sometimes i'm slightly higher on the left brain side than the right. i guess it depends on the frame of mind and what your life is at the time.
