why do people blame?

every time you hear or read of a horrible crime.whats the first thing out of thier mouth?I WAS ABUSED AS A CHILD?well i was too.but i dont blame what ive done wrong in my life on it.I MADE THE MISTAKES NOT MY DAD.why cant people take the blame for it on thier own.my life as a child was horrible ,but im my own person,make my own mistakes,an thats how it should be.
