Is anyone disappointed with the way Lost is going? When it first started, we thought they had somehow been transported to another planet, or the Island was on Earth but was protected by some force field that prevented others from seeing it, that somehow the Others were the descendants of pirates, or some other group that had previously crashed, the people on the Island were between life and death, The Other may have been aliens in disguise, and other explanations that had nothing to do with the Others being scientists that had been recruited by Dharma, were doing scientific experiments, and had increased the electronic field, in other words, a reasonable explanation. It's the same thing that happens when ABC tries something paranormal or science fiction like. They are too afraid to go out on a limb.

You should see the third season, then it really gets to be exciting. You also learn more about the characters.

Well, they are going out on a limb in another way. I think Lost is the master of suspense. I love watching the inter- and intrapersonal relationships on the island. I'll tune in forever if they make me ()_()!!!!

I have all these theories about Lost, including different dimension, they are all in purgatory, in a Bermuda type triangle, time warp, a place where adults cannot age, a place where once you leave you age quicker than normal, they are all in a coma and are sharing the same dream, it is an allegory, etc. but I have no idea what will happen, and I sure hope we get the Dvd of season three for Christmas.

I still love the show. Each episode give me a 'oh my gosh' moment. I love the suspense. I love not really knowing what is going on. All the guessing and conspiracy theories makes it half the fun. And I like most of the characters. I'm ready for more.

This is one of my favorite shows. I also love making theories as to where the Island is, what it is, how the characters interconnect, who are the Others really, and all that keeps me interested.

I liked the first episode of this season as well as every single previous episode; but the most recent episode that was ALL about Desmin was just a bit short for me. I think that there were so many commercials that the entire episode was no more than about 35 to 40 minutes; and they didnt even touch on Kate and Sawyer getting back to the island(unless I missed something) If the writers start to get back to the whole mystery of the island, then things will start to get very interesting again. I do believe that it continue to be a great show despite the last episode. Time will tell.

What you have to do is wait for the DVD. But I hate the commercials. Here in Canada, they usually do not show what comes next week on the Canadian channels. But when I heard about the problem the women have dying before the babies could survive, I wonder who or what is in control of the Island and if there is a plan to defeat it.

lost on an island - The island on which the serial was shot reminds me of this picture. It was equally dense and widespread.Quiet populated though. And a lot happened on that island.
Did the sereal Lost come to an end in the 1st place?cause it just got lost from the T.V schedule of programs with the introduction of the Bond series.

It will go on for at least six seasons. The fourth season will start in Fall, but I am unsure about the date. So it has not been canceled.

I still think the mysteries with the Island is the most interesting aspects of LOST, but I have to say that I really enjoy watching the latest episodes as well. The whole series took a new twist with Jack, Kate and Sawyer being captured by the others. I would like to now a little bit more about the Island and about how everything and everyone are related though. After watching all the episodes so far, there is no chance that I will stop watching until the last episode is finished. I HAVE to find out about all the different mysteries. I have sooo many questions!

You just find out one mystery and another opens up. The writers are really good at this show thinking up what will happen, why it happened, and when the characters ran into each other and were unaware until now.

I'm quite happy with the way things are going, but I'm a bit worried that some of the mysteries from the first season will be forgotten and won't ever get explained as the show progresses. I'll be disappointed if there is never an explanation for why the numbers on the hatch matched the ones Hurley had played in the lottery, or whether (and how) the polar bear was conjured up by Walt's reading about it in his comic book. re is nothing supernatural going on, how was it that the numbers on the hatch matched the ones Hurley heard from that mentally ill man.

That was explained in the second season. Something to do with the coordinates sent out and that they were changed, but I have no idea why the numbers were so dangerous I(something about if you do not press them the world will blow up) We have just finished watching the third season here in North America. (Canada and the Us.) I have no idea about Mexico, Central and South America.

So far I am happy with the way it is going. I thought this season started out a little slow, but the last two episodes were really good. Now if Desmond can shift through time and see the future, what does that mean for the rest of them on the Island?

when i started watching lost i wasn't to hooked on it but later it grew on me and now i have to watch every episode but lately the storyline is dragging on and the unimaginable come true making it a less believable for the viewer

I like the mystery, but the whole philosophy of an Island being senient or rather a senient being or spiritual being controlling the destiny and the fate of the inhabitants and deciding who deserves to die, to live, to get better, to get sick, and he or it certainly is not God. So I guess the Island black smoke thing is a demon.

I'm not really happy with the way the show is going at the moment. I really loved the first series but at the moment I feel like the writers are presenting us with a ton of questions, but without giving us any real answers at all it's hard to stay hooked on the show. Each episode just makes me feel more lost (excuse the pun!) and more confused. Maybe that's the whole point, but I really think we should be given some answers as to what is going on. I for one will probably lose interest before long if they don't shed some light on the situation.

Well the second season is not as good. It concentrated too much on Dharma. However, the third season was more interesting. You get some answers on who the Others are, what the Black Rock is (although there are some questions as to where it was going) what happened to Dharma and why. Also what happens to some of the characters and the possible future of one. So it will pick up a bit more.

i am dissapointed! i refuse to believe this is all an experiment. there are just too many things that add up. we know that desmond pulled the plane down. we know that the "others" are real people, working for a company. we know that everything has a meaning. EXCEPT the black smoke- what is that anyway?

The Others were the original inhabitants of the Island, they killed all the Dharma people except for Ben who became their leader, and took their places. The Black Smoke could be a demon or it could be Jacob who is the leader of the Island who could be really a demon who can almost take human form because he can only be seen by certain people. That's what I know so far.
