I'm going thru 2 crisis's in my life right now and i've been praying for a resolution a long time. I've been waiting for God to move in these 2 situations and feel like my life has been on hold. Nothing has happened. I've been told that God's timing is best but waiting doesen't make sense to me. Any advice?

hi! The best thing I have learned, in almost thirty years of being a believer, is to just relax and let God take care of things. I know, I used to think that was what I was doing already, til I realized, it can be like with a small child, and you are trying to tie their shoes, if they keep getting their little hands in the way, trying to do it, when they can't, then you cannot get their shoes tied, as their hands keep getting in the way.. Even if you are not still trying to deal with these things, you can still relax more and "rest" more "patiently in the Lord, waiting patiently" (in faith and trust) "for Him" - Another thing I have learned, and this is very important, is the solutions, to everything, is more of Him! It's Him we need, and He brings the answer and solution with Him.
"Beneath are the everlasting arms.." Lean back and rest in him, trusting that he hears your prayers. For we can block the answer by too much static, too much unbelief or lack of faith, perhaps not in Him, but in our deserving the answer, etc! Well, we know the answer to that, we don't deserve his blessings! But He paid the price and debt, my debt is cancelled and in that way I do deserve his blessings and answers.
All in all, I think of faith and quiet confidence, as the "ground wire" that allows the answer to prayer through (so it can pierce through the static of my head, and my life). Peace!

Keep praying and keep on trusting in God. I know how you feel. There have been times in my life when it seemed that God just wasn't answering my prayers...but He was. I wanted all my problems solved right then and there. We have to realize that God does have a plan and sometimes He doesn't reveal it to us right away. God's time is not our time. He knows what is best for us. He WILL see you thru your crisis. Thank Him for all the blessings He has given you and trust Him always. He is there with you.

This was sent to me by a dear friend I hope it helps to see how the good Lord works
God's Cake.....
Sometimes we wonder, "What did I do to deserve this?" or
"Why did God have to do this to me?" Here is a wonderful explanation! A
daughter is telling her Mother how everything is going wrong, she's failing
algebra, her boyfriend broke up with her and her best friend is moving
away.
Meanwhile, her Mother is baking a cake and asks her
daughter if she would like a snack, and the daughter says, "Absolutely Mom,
I love your cake."
"Here, have some cooking oil," her Mother offers. "Yuck"
says her daughter.
"How about a couple raw eggs?" "Gross, Mom!"
"Would you like some flour then? Or maybe baking soda?"
"Mom, those are all yucky!"
To which the mother replies: "Yes, all those things seem
bad all by themselves. But when they are put together in the right way,
they make a wonderfully delicious cake!
God works the same way. Many times we wonder why He
would let us go through such bad and difficult times. But God knows that
when He puts these things all in His order, they always work for good! We
just have to trust Him and, eventually, they will all make something
wonderful!
God is crazy about you. He sends you flowers every
spring and a sunrise every morning.
Whenever you want to talk, He'll listen. He can live
anywhere in the universe, and He chose you r heart.
Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we are
here we might as well dance.
