Marking best Response

Thank you for posting this information. There are so many features to learn on myLot, so it helps us all that you documented this for us. On top of that, you present a very good tip about how we can be better users of the "reply" versus "comment" features.

i agree with you on this.. you point out a really important thing which we dont notice oftenly. giving response by 'add a comment' really lose once opportunity to get best response and even + response. next time i'll also constious while posting responses. thanks again for pointing out this.

I suggested that the 'mark as best response' should be placed beside the responders username, before this method of choosing was an option, so that we didn't mistakenly choose the wrong number. I'm not sure how long you've been a member but we used to choose best response from a drop-down menu of numbers.... I was hoping they'd place the 'mark as best response' beside every response and comment : ( I think the idea of commenting is for when someone has given the response you 'would have' and instead of writing the same response or something so closely similiar, we are supposed to agree or second it by posting a comment instead. In that case, the responder should get the credit.

Really I didn't notice that. It can happen but I don't think so much. I understand the problem, you cannot vote it as the best response but how many of these did you receive? I riceived just few so never thought about that.

Yes, I also have noticed this. Though we can rate the comender with a "+", but we can't give them best response. Mylot should add this Best response button with the comment also. That will be a good option to have.

i had this problem a few times and i wanted to mark up some best responses and couldn't thanks for this post cos it shows me now what to do and not stuuf up next time..i am useless man with the comp..don't know how i make money from it lol..
