why gals hv inclination more towards medical than engg.

hi all i m from india. i hv noticed that there are not many gals who are pursuing engg as compared to medical. both are of sc. background. both requires acumen but thn what makes dere induction more in one thn the other. plz express urself. especially those who r not frm india as i wud like to know the trends at ur country.
