I'm hungry...should i eat?

ok here's the thing...two years ago i battled with anorexia...i fought hard to pull my self out of that...last year was tough but today is harder...im hungry and i probably should eat because i don't want to be anorexic but there isnt food in my home. then its not like i think im fat there just isnt food atm.when there is eat a lot...then i put on weight...its hard to know when to eat...eating is a crazy subject. like so many people eat when they are bored thats not healthy but then agen not eating is worse...
Do you eat enough or not?
Can you control yourself?

im on diet...even its to do it, i will for the sake of myself..i think i can control myself eating too much..but i didnt say that im not eat anymore..i only want less the food i eaten..

well, if you *think* you're hungry but you really aren't that hungry, then set aside the food and just drink water. sometimes we mistake our thirst senses with our hunger senses and we eat alot in which we don't get sufficient water supply from the food we eat so we are forced to eat more..well, if you're really hungry, then you can eat a light snack..after 4-5 hours eat another light snack. never go for big meals. it will make your weight more stable than eating 3 big meals in a day..5 light meals a day is much better in this case.

omg im not fat...i just meant wen i was anorexic i put on weight wen i ate food. my family is poor atm. thats y i cant eat...everyone misunderstood this post

When you are hungry you must eat because you need to it and have energy in your body. In my case when I eat I see to it that even a little food intake because when I eat much Ihave this stomache till next day.

I guess you should eat something...your body need energy dear. If you don't have enough food,...then you should work harder and earn enough money perhaps from mylot.com or other income generating sites.....I may want to share with you one, if you reply this. Don't contribute yourself to the starvation listing

the problem isnt that im starving myself but at the moment my family is too poor to buy food. everyone seems to think im still anorexic here when i clearly stated i wasnt...

I have a problem with eating too sometimes i will go days at a time without eating and then other times i will eat at least one meal a day.I just don't seem to be hungry sometimes and then other times i am very hungry and have to make myself eat something then i feel like getting sick and have to fight the nausea.I am very overweight so am not worried about anorexia but am wondering if i have some kind of stomach problem that is causing my weird eating habit.

Well I dont think I eat enough or eat enough good foods. I eat only once a day maybe twice if Im active and only little meals. I dont eat when Im bored but if I get hungry I try to eat anything to fill the gap and make the stomache stop growling. This is how its always been for me and unlike most I guess you could say I have been lucky because I stay at the same body weight for almost 7 years now. Im not to skin or to small I think eating really all depends on the individuals. By the way congrats with beating your battle against anorexia, you made it where alot people failed and should be very proud of yourself for beating it.

Hey this sounds familiar to me. I know I heard this discussion before well anyway I say just eat and be happy you dont fat at all. Eating is good for us. Be healthy keep eating.

Without question you should eat on a regular basis. I am sure you got out of the habit but it is a good one to get back into. As you are more than well aware of anorexia is dangourious. It can kill you in extreem.
One of the best solutions I have found is to eat only whne you are hungry and then in moderate amounts. Now that is my intilect talking because most of the time I am on a see food diet. I see food and I eat it! LOL
However for you it is much more serious. Anorexia is every bit as much of a problem as any other physical problem you could have. And it is so easy to fix. No pills...no running to a doctor.....nothing but eating like you should.
As for when to eat. Three times a day. Morning noon and night. Doen't have to be much but just the right things.
I do hope you are able to keep it up.

when you feel hungry, i think you better find a way to eat because having anorexia is indeed a serious problem i think that i eat enough to make myself healthy but not that enough to get me the weight that i wanted. maybe because i do pick some foods. when i don't have anything to do, i also love preparing snacks like spaghetti or burger or any stuff which i enjoy to eat in front of the television. eating is also the past time that my family do, but i really don't know if i can control myself not to eat or to eat, for me it's a natural state of mind to eat when i'm hungry then stop when i'm already full.

look dear you eat when you feel hungry .eat enough to fill you.nothing more or less. you do not eat when you get bored. there are so many other things you need to do when you are bored . so have control on your food. you can do it. if you loose control on you now you will fail so make up your mind and eat only when you feel hungry. eat a lot of salad made of fresh vegetables. and yaa one more thing try not to make multiple brakefasts or lunch and try to have food at a fixed time these things will help you a lot. take care .

Well, it's an hard situattion, i advice you to go to an nutritionist... You don't need to eat ALOT but you must eat enough to be Full of food, you need to understand how you look is not more important than your life.. Anorexy can kill.
I personally eat enough and i'm at my perfect weight so i don't have nothing to worry about right now.. yes i can control myself at least most of the time..
remember, your life is more important than how you look.

Don't be afraid to eat if you're hungry.Food is one of the few pleasures in life you can truly enjoy.If you're worried about gaining weight,keep low fat snacks and fruit handy.That way you can eat and not feel guilty.It also works for people like me who have a constant battle with thier weight.I always eat enough,most times too much.Can I control myself..if I really want to,yeah I think anybody can.It's the wanting to I have trouble with.

Materials on anorexia tell me that, people lose their appetite for many reasons. Some care too much about their figures, they just want to be good looking. Some other people are afraid of themselves getting to be overweight. On the contrary, some eat very much while they are upset. My suggestion is why don't you seek opinions from specialist on the field? I think they have some methods to help you find out the real reason why you seem to go back to last two years conditions again. When you know the real reason, you may carry out relevant actions to solve the problems.

i eat a lot of food and it isnt just unhealthy food i eat a lot of fruit and proper meals when its in the house i dont gain weight at all though im still as thin as before i ate a lot now i eat more nothing has chamged i just feel healthier. i think you should eat but try and be a healthy eater

I applaud you for making it through so far. You've had a tough time and accepting that you need help was the hardest step you'll take.
It sounds like you need to talk to your Doctor or someone who can give you some good sound advice about eating regular meals and when it's better not to eat and so on.
I have my fingers crossed for you that you continue to do as well as you obviously have done so far.
