I am having problems with knowing which quotes to learn from poems, plays etc. The reason for this being that obviously you have no prior knowledge of the questions that are going to be asked, so what sort of quotes should you learn? Furthermore, say you learn an array of material on a specific poem/play etc but when it comes to the exam it is not relevant? I was just writing to ask if you had and tips and advice on how to cope with his.

"Perfect love is rare indeed -
for to be a lover will require
that you continually have
the subtlety of the very wise,
the flexibility of the child,
the sensitivity of the artist,
the understanding of the philosopher,
the acceptance of the saint,
the tolerance of the scholar and
the fortitude of the certain."

There is no difficulty that enough love will not conquer;
no disease that enough love will not heal;
no door that enough love will not open;
no gulf that enough love will not bridge;
no wall that enough love will not throw down;
no sin that enough love will not redeem...
It makes no difference how deeply seated may be the trouble;
how hopeless the outlook; how muddled the tangle; how great the mistake.
A sufficient realization of love will dissolve it all.
If only you could love enough you would be
the happiest and most powerful being in the world...
